Marc Brunelle

En quelques mots
Je suis professeur titulaire au Département de linguistique de l'Université d'Ottawa. Je m'intéresse à la théorie phonologique, à la phonétique, aux tons et à l'intonation, au changement sonore et à l'effet du contact linguistique sur les systèmes sonores. Mon travail porte essentiellement sur les langues d'Asie du sud-est, plus spécialement le viêtnamien et le cham, et implique une bonne composante de documentation linguistique.

Je suis aussi co-directeur du Laboratoire des structures sonores, un laboratoire à la fine pointe de la technologie subventionné par la Fondation canadienne pour l'innovation.

Je supervise des étudiants de maîtrise et de doctorat qui travaillent sur la prosodie et/ou sur la phonétique et la phonologie des langues d'Asie du sud-est. Si vous cherchez un superviseur, envoyez-moi un courriel détaillant votre bagage académique et vos intérêts de recherche.
